Episode to open in 40 theaters on November 11 in Japan NBC Universal Anime began streaming a trailer for Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka?? ~Dear My Sister~, the new special episode for the anime Is the order a rabbit?? (Gochūmon wa Usagi Desu ka??), on Saturday. The video previews the theme song "Sekai ga Café ni Nacchatta!" (The World Became a Café!) by new singing unit "Petit Rabbit's with beans." The main cast comprised the singing unit Petit Rabbit's, which performed the opening theme songs for the television anime. The episode will begin screening in 40 theaters in Japan on November 11. The episode's theatrical screening was slated to premiere this spring, but it was postponed. Hiroyuki Hashimoto is returning to direct, but at the animation studio production doA instead of Kinema Citrus and WHITE FOX (the studios behind the previous television seasons). News Nintendo Ordered to Pay US$10 Million in Patent Infringement Lawsuit
Nintendo reportedly plans to appeal verdict A jury in Dallas, Texas decided in favor of iLife Technologies in its patent infringement lawsuit against Nintendo of America on Thursday. The court ordered Nintendo of America to pay US$10 million in damages to iLife for infringing on iLife's motion-sensing patents to create Wii and Wii U controllers. iLife filed the lawsuit in 2013, seeking US$144 million in damages, or US$4 for each of the $36 million Wii systems sold prior to the suit (Nintendo ended production on Wii consoles earlier that year). iLife uses to motion-sensing technology to monitor infants for sudden infant death syndrome and the elderly for falls. Nintendo's position was that iLife's patent was not properly written and therefore was invalid. A Nintendo representative told Rolling Stone that Nintendo disagrees with the verdict, and is seeking to raise the issue with the district court and court of appeals. News Fate/Grand Order Game's English Version Reaches 1 Million Downloads
Game runs Facebook campaign, offers 5-star Berserker Sakata Gintoki Aniplex USA announced on Thursday that the English version of the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game has reached 1 million downloads. To celebrate the milestone, the game will offer the 5-star Berserker-class Servant Sakata Gintoki for the first time. In addition, Aniplex USA will give out more prizes now that a Facebook post has reached more than 10,000 Likes and 2,000 shares. Players can also receive prizes if they log in for 13 consecutive days from September 7 to 21. Aniplex released the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game in Japan in summer 2015 and it has been downloaded more than 9 million times.
