CAPCOM confirmed on Tuesday that it will release Okami HD, an updated version of the PlayStation 2 game Okami, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will launch physically and digitally on December 12 in North America and Europe.

The new version will offer 4K support for PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and supported PC hardware.

The original game shipped in Japan in 2006. The game's director Hideki Kamiya commented for the tenth anniversary last year that he would like to make a sequel.
