Sinossi
Siamo in un universo alternativo simile al nostro, se non per il fatto che qui la guerra fredda non è mai finita e l’URSS esiste ancora. Per salvaguardare gli equilibri mondiali è stata creata un’organizzazione non governativa, la Mithril, formata da mercenari che non parteggiano né per l’est, né per l’ovest e si possono definire paladini della libertà e della giustizia. Tra i membri più valenti dell’organizzazione c’è Sousuke Sagara, un ragazzo di sedici anni che sin da piccolo ha conosciuto solo campi di battaglia, specialmente in Medio Oriente, e che quindi sa ragionare solo in termini militareschi. Il ragazzo viene incaricato di proteggere Kaname Chidori, una normalissima (e bellissima) studentessa liceale giapponese, che in realtà nasconde inconsapevolmente un grande segreto. Kaname infatti è una Whispered, e nel suo cervello è custodito il segreto della Black Technology, una tecnologia talmente sofisticata da rendere obsolete perfino le armi nucleari. Sousuke quindi deve proteggere la ragazza, iscrivendosi nella sua stessa scuola e finendo per combinare disastri su disastri (si veda Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu) essendo infatti abituato al solo mondo militare, il ragazzo si dimostra incapace di comprendere il mondo dei civili, scambiando gesti comuni per tutti gli altri per improbabili minacce e arrivando a portare a scuola ogni genere di arma. La trama poi si dipana tra azioni spericolate, lotte contro terroristi e problemi della vita quotidiana che a causa di Sousuke diventano grandi problemi.

Simulation RPG slated for 2018 A panel at the Fantasia Bunko Festival 2017 event on Saturday announced that the Full Metal Panic! franchise is getting a PlayStation 4 game titled Full Metal Panic! News Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory Anime's New Promo Video Streamed
New key visual also revealed for series premiering in spring 2018 Media Factory began streaming a new promotional video on Saturday for the for the Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory television anime series. A panel at the Fantasia Bunko Festival 2017 event screened the video earlier on Saturday. Media Factory also began streaming the Japan version of the "0.2" promotional video on Saturday that the official website for the anime previously streamed in August. The video is a Japan version of the video the staff screened at Anime Expo in July. The official website account for the anime also revealed a new key visual. The anime was originally slated to premiere this fall, but will now premiere in spring 2018. 3 films telling 1st anime season open in November, January The official website for the three-film director's cut anime project for the first season of the Full Metal Panic! television anime series began streaming a teaser video for the project on Saturday. The website also revealed the titles and release dates for the three films. The films will screen in Tokyo at the Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku and the Tachikawa Cinema City theaters, and in Osaka at the Umeda Burg 7 theater. Each film will screen for one week.
