News Trinity Seven Author Kenji Saito Launches New Manga
Porabora draws new Goodbye! Isekai Tensei manga launching in December

This year's sixth issue of Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine R revealed on Friday that manga creator Kenji Saito is launching a new manga titled Goodbye! Isekai Tensei (Goodbye! Fantasy World Reincarnation) in the magazine's next issue on December 20. Saito is credited with the original work, while Porabora is drawing the manga. The manga will have a color opening page, and the first chapter will have 72 pages.

Porabora posted an image of the magazine's announcement on Friday — the new series is pictured in the top left.

The teaser text for the manga's story in the magazine reads, "Yūya Kamigasaki is a normal, 17-year-old high school student. But suddenly, a princess who calls herself Angelia Eight Gransia appears before him from another world." Other text reads, "Even if you suddenly say I should reincarnate and become the strongest hero...!"

Keiko Hirayama is also launching a new manga titled Hōkago no Gourmet-kun (Afterschool Gourmet-kun, pictured top right in the image above) in the same issue.

Kenji Saito launched the Trinity Seven manga with artist Akinari Nao in Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011. Kadokawa published the manga's 17th compiled book volume on August 8. The manga has more than 3 million copies in print. The manga has inspired spinoff manga, including Trinity Seven: Liese Chronicle and Trinity Seven: Levi Ninden. Yen Press is publishing the original manga in English.

The manga inspired a 12-episode television anime series that premiered in October 2014, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks released the series with an English dub on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on August 16.

Crunchyroll also began streaming the Trinity Seven: Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl film in March. The film opened in Japan on February 25.

Saito recently collaborated with artist Shoji Sato (Highschool of the Dead, Triage X) to launch a new manga titled Mahō Shōjo Flaming Star (Magical Girl Flaming Star) in Kadokawa's Bessatsu Dragon Age magazine on September 25.
