News Geno Studio Reveals New TV Anime Project By Baccano!/Durarara!! Director Takahiro Ōmori
New project is nearly 10 years in the making

Geno Studio announced on Monday that it will produce an original television anime series by director Takahiro Ōmori (Baccano!, Durarara!! all seasons, Natsume's Book of Friends all seasons, Samurai Flamenco). The announcement noted that the project has been in planning for about 10 years.

The company had teased on Tuesday that it would reveal three new television anime projects on Monday. The company is also producing the Golden Kamuy television anime, and a television anime adaptation of Seita Horio's Kokkoku: Moment by Moment manga.

Fuji TV producer Kōji Yamamoto established Geno Studio in 2015. The studio is a 100% subsidiary company of the anime production company Twin Engine. Yamamoto founded the studio to complete the Genocidal Organ anime film following studio Manglobe's filing for bankruptcy.
